Haha, actually they are weights. And that’s the scales behind it, the rope and the wooden palette. The bar you see inside the hexagonal “nut” is actually to grab them and that gap is big enough to fit a rather large fist. The top weight is probably around 40lbs and the bottom one 60lbs or so.
